Description

Crisis on Infinite Earths #1 centres around an unstoppable wave of antimatter that is eradicating the multiverse, prompting the cosmic Monitor to initiate a desperate defence. The Monitor’s herald, Harbinger, recruits diverse heroes and villains from multiple dimensions to a satellite station, while the tragic figure Pariah witnesses the impending destruction of Earth-One. The recruited figures are assembled to combat this existential threat and save all of reality. Read the original comic book series on DC Universe Infinite. After nearly 50 years of stories, the DC Universe had become a mess of contradictions and confusing realities. Their solution was to relaunch the entire universe under one new vision, updated for modern 1980s readers. The new “Post-Crisis” universe updated the origins and appearances of DC characters, collapsing the multiverse into a single prime world and fully integrating newly acquired characters from Fawcett and Charlton.
