The Hot Wheels Ecto-2 casting features a V-twin engine, water cooling, and a Ghostbusters logo on the sides of the tank. It has two ectoplasm guns at the front and high-tech equipment on the back crate, with a sculpted ECTO-2 plate. The movie motorcycle is based on a 1976 Harley-Davidson SXT125, but it did not have a V-twin engine and retained the original exhaust pipe.
The Hot Wheels Ecto-2 is a die-cast scale replica of the ghost-hunting motorcycle from the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot film. Modelled after a 1976 Harley Davidson SXT125, it is commonly sold in a collector’s 2-pack alongside the Ecto-1 hearse. The Ecto-2 motorcycle is generally sized at 1:50 or 1:32 scale, making it slightly larger in proportional scale than the standard 1:64 Ecto-1 car. It features a V-twin engine, unique water-cooling system details, and the iconic Ghostbusters no-ghost logo. First released in 2016 as a movie tie-in.
