It represents the 22nd-century tech used by Captain Archer and the crew of the NX-01. This is the highly sought-after 1st version, featuring an accurate satin-black body finish, a grey flip-up grid antenna, and classic display faceplate highlights.
The Star Trek: Enterprise Starfleet Communicator features a satin black finish with a silver-painted flip-grid antenna and grey highlights. There is a button on the side of the unit that, when pressed, flips the communicator open, lights up the status display and causes it to “chirp”. If the button is pressed for over 2 seconds, it will sound out “Archer to boarding party, come in” in Captain Archer’s voice, capturing the true prequel aesthetic before the TOS era. It is a great replica and well worth adding to any Star Trek collection. The replica is the first and only version of the NX-01 Communicator made by Art Asylum (as part of a two-pack with a Phase Pistol). A perfect addition for premium display shelves or convention cosplay!
