Turok: Dinosaur Hunter #1, published by Valiant Comics in July 1993, is a landmark modern-era comic with an embossed chromium-foil cover. It is widely regarded as one of Valiant’s best-selling issues of the era. The storyline, Cold Blood Blazing, follows Turok as he faces technologically enhanced dinosaurs (“bionisaurs”) created by Mothergod.
